Brand Redesign
Task:
Sigma was built from the ground up as a parent company for an evolving cannabis market. The task was to create a brand that could feel established from day one: sophisticated, flexible, and distinct enough to stand apart from the familiar visual language of the category. The identity pairs stark black and white with hits of olive green, bold typography, and graphic pattern work to create a system that feels confident, modern, and slightly unexpected.
Challenge:
The challenge was creating a cannabis brand without leaning on the obvious cues. Sigma needed to feel connected to the industry without relying on predictable greens, botanical references, or overly literal symbolism. As a parent company, the identity also had to be broad enough to support multiple brands and ideas beneath it while still having a strong point of view of its own. The result is a sharp, adaptable brand world built around contrast, pattern, and the idea of many parts coming together to create something greater.
